September through April we invite you to join us for a FREE, fun, and family-friendly hands-on science event. Most Science Nights are at the Collins Main Library, but two months during the season the events will be held at branch locations. All ages are welcome (but Science Night is especially for those aged 5-10). Every month’s Science Night will explore a different, exciting scientific topic through a book reading, an interactive question and answer session with an expert guest, experiments or demonstrations, and a hands-on activity (with household items). Plan for the activity to last about 45 minutes. And as an added bonus, library staff pick the best reads and media to complement our Science Night topic for you to check out to continue exploring on your own!

Check out the MagLab Pinterest board on Science in Literature to find amazing science books for readers of all levels selected by our librarian friends.
