Responsibilities

  • Perform pipefitting as a journeyman pipefitter on large stainless steel, carbon steel, PVC, polypro and copper pipe. Work will include layout and fabrication of specialty systems to support vacuum pumps, vertical turbine pumps, multistage turbine pumps, cooling towers, valves, heat exchanger, water treatment equipment, hot water boilers, helium purifiers, air dryers, high pressure gas systems, cryogenic systems and deionized water systems.
  • Trouble shoot and perform breakdown maintenance on the equipment listed above along with numerous other state of art systems, some welding will be performed.
  • Installation of new systems and equipment, including carpentry, plumbing, machining, painting, and
  • General millwright work, including setting equipment, alignment, rigging layout and
  • General paperwork, including parts ordering, vendor contracts, time keeping, scheduling, customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree + 3 years of experience or a High school diploma or equivalent+ 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Additional experience qualifies candidates for higher-level consideration (Ill-VI). Each level requires three additional years of experience.

Anticipated Salary Range

Level II - Mid $50,000's, commensurate with education and experience.

Level Ill - Low $60,000's, commensurate with education and experience.

Level IV - Low $70,000's, commensurate with education and experience.
